Ci siamo prefissi due obiettivi:
la spedizione di un secondo convoglio umanitario che partirà alla fine di settembre in tempo per sostenere la scuola di Atma e quelle di villaggi vicini che ancora subiscono violenti bombardamenti. Stiamo raccogliendo tutto il materiale didattico...
non vogliamo che manchi nulla dalle cartelle a quelle matite colorate che riempiono gli astucci di tutti i bambini che arrivano a scuola per la prima volta... vogliamo prenderci cura di loro come lo facciamo con i nostri figli. La chiusura della raccolta è prevista per la fine di agosto ed insieme al materiale didattico trasporteremo abbigliamento invernale per bambini dai 0 ai 14 anni, tutto il necessario per affrontare l'inverno per i neonati e tante coperte... i bambini non torneranno a casa nemmeno quest'anno... molti non potranno mai farlo perchè non hanno piu' una casa....
il secondo obiettivo è la ristampa dei libri di testo. Il programma di studi siriano non corrisponde a quello degli altri paesi arabi quindi c'è la necessità di ristampare i libri di testo... ristampare i libri per un bambino costa 5 euro...
In questo periodo il nostro corrispondente Maram Foundation sta ultimando la costruzione della scuola del campo profughi di Atma che avrà 14 classi.
Il lavoro che svolgiamo in Siria è estremamente complesso e portato avanti a stretto contatto con le necessità della popolazione. Il materiale da noi spedito viene consegnato casa per casa nelle regoni bombardate e affianca distribuzioni di generi alimentari.
Continueremo con tutto il nostro impegno a portare aiuto agli ultimi e far capire loro che non sono stati dimenticati.... non da noi.
