In Sri Lanka, in Ampara district, due to the tsunami and the civil war, a total of 3212 people, mainly women and children were killed, 4557 were injured and 14579 families are homeless and were hosted in reception centers. Sending food and powdered milk in the northeast of the island, Batticaloa area.
